You will need the following supplies:
Foil candy wrappers - I usually have a few of these laying around. hehehe
glossy gel medium - I used Liquitex gloss varnish
cardstock for a base
paper punch - not something that is extremely intricate as the result is a little thick
Step 1. Gather your supplies. I always use an old paintbrush to apply the gel medium.
Step 2. Coat the cardstock with gel medium. Tear the candy wrappers and glue them down, overlapping slightly and coating each piece with the gel-medium. I used glossy to let the metallic finish shine through.
Step 3. Cover entire cardstock background with foils and cover the surface with a final coat of gel medium and let dry completely before punching your desired shape.

I scattered the butterflies throughout my layout for a spark of shine.
Hope you all have a great weekend - I'm looking forward to seeing your ideas using treats this month.

Thank you! I am addicted to my Martha Stewart butterfly punch, so anytime I see a new way to use it I am thrilled. And candy wrappers? Yeah, I have a few of those. How perfect for Halloween! You ladies are soooooo inspiring.
