Pencil Lines Collaborative

This week, The Next Step designers teamed up with the Pencil Lines designers to fill you with loads of Tricks with Treats inspiration. Pencil Lines is a blog all about using sketches to expand your artistic horizons, get you outside your box, and lift you out of scrappers block and to help you get more layouts done. It is about thinking outside your normal processes to create something wonderful.

Each of us worked with this sketch by the talented Anna Bowkis while incorporating this month's theme: Tricks with Treats.

The Next Step Design Team

We'd like to thank the Pencil Lines team for working with us this month! Pencil Lines posts a new sketch along with the beautiful work of the awesome design team every Sunday. Be sure to check them out!

Also, don't forget that our RAK this month is a copy of Sherry Steveson's newest book, The Scrapbook Embellishment Handbook. All you need to do is make a project using the Tricks for Treats Theme and leave us a link on any post in October.

Happy Creating!

xoxo

I just want to throw this out here: This opportunity to be on the design team here and to guest this week at Pencillines has been such a validating experience for me. Just a few months ago, when the Next Step started up, I felt an immediate enchantment from this blog and it's original design team (Beth, Lucy, Gayle). You ladies have truly inspired me and helped fire up even more passion in me for this hobby. I didn't know that was possible. And Pencillines was literally the first scrapbooking site that I ever got into. Life is magical and beautiful and I just wanted to share.

Hi, I'm having a hard time knowing when the challenges are posted as none of the posts have dates....I would like to mark it on my calendar as I'm getting all mixed up! haha

Thanks for mentioning that, Glenda - sorry I somehow missed the dates were missing from the top of the posts - I'll get right on it. :)
